The main purpose for the ZOOALOGICAL YOUTH EDUCATION PRESERVE (ZouYou) is to foster a respectful understanding of other species. The process will consist of entertaining educational quizzes, as well as promotions of events by groups that are helping animals.
A secondary purpose is to promote reading by bringing to life characters from books as visitors to the biosphere. Various scenes from books referenced on the website will be presented in video form in the section Books.
The origin story of the preserve can be found in the sci-fi book PRESERVE PLANET: Alien Adventures. How the earth version of the preserve got the nickname “Zoo You” will be found in the young adult book Wendy’s Spaceship Ride, which will be the sequel to the middle grade reader Wendy’s Plane Ride.
