The Custodian

The custodian David Watkinson doesn’t appear in the preserve. Instead, the Zoo You announcers and game hosts are characters from David’s books.

His love for animals and curiosity about other species inspired David to create the ZooYou website. In his private life, his love for animals led him to train a wild rabbit to come when called, eat out of his hand and come into the house for a snack.

While the rabbit and squirrels would come in for a snack, the cat TouTou would purr anticipating the treat he would always get for being a good host:
